Thank You to Coe Hill, our extended community members, and visitors from near and far!
Our inaugural Bush Camp Fun Day & Pig Roast was a huge success, and we couldn’t have done it without this amazing community spirit. We were thrilled to welcome not only our Coe Hill friends, but also visitors from across the region. From the children’s activities including the Scavenger Hunt (with plenty of adults joining in the fun too!), the participation and energy throughout the day was truly wonderful.
A special thank you to our generous supporters:
• The Old Hastings Mercantile & Gallery – for the big tent that kept us covered.
• Bancroft Foodland – for its kind donation of food.
• The Monarch and The Milkweed – for its kind donation of food and the generous gift certificate.
• Solomon Johnston for the impromptu, fine fiddle musical accompaniment
• Jack Ingram – who so generously gave his time, rising early and spending the whole day preparing the roast for us.
Your support made this Bush Camp weekend one to remember. We’re so grateful, and we’re already looking forward to next year- perhaps there will be Bush Camp dessert on the menu!
Stay tuned for the announcement of the winner of the “Guess the Number of Spools in the Jar” contest!
